Advantages

The Pulse has a lot of advantages over the competition, it's pistol design makes the pulse my choice, it's compact size and design is like holding a 9mm so it's familiar to most gun owners. It's extremely light using the small 3.7 volt battery and it conceals easily it is the one to own my wife and I both have the pulse accessories are readily available i use the tactical holster pops in and stays until you take it out works great in a shoulder holster also stick it in your pocket it fits durable material pulse has laser sights with led light can see about fifty feet when it's dark well enough to identify subject easy to use just push the lever up and your ready to fire leads have plenty of force for 15 to 20 ft drops about 2 ft at 20' not much drop in first 10' leads are barbed will need medical attention to remove barbs plus you can use like any stun gun touch the subject and pull the trigger

Disadvantages

The one pick i have with the pulse is the handle is short for me but that is the trade off for concealment i would like handle an inch inch and a half longer but it has no recoil to make it a problem with control

If you're going to purchase a taser for protection you want one that has the knock down power to immobilize the attacker not just anger them pulse has it all small tough laser lighted sights pistol design no frills just a taser that is capable of saving your life at $400.00 it is comparable to a average priced hand gun with out all the license and your wife will be comfortable using it i like this taser
